About Tod Timber
Our focus is simple, to deliver safe, accurate and well built timber frames you can depend on.
At Tod Timber Engineering, we design, supply and install timber frame systems for housing and commercial projects across Scotland. Since 2011, our team has been supporting housebuilders, developers and construction firms with reliable structures, clear communication and work carried out to recognised industry standards.
We cover Greater Glasgow and the Clyde Valley, Edinburgh and the Lothians, Perth and Kinross, Stirlingshire, Fife, Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway. As part of the McTaggart Group, we work alongside a wider team of construction and housing specialists, giving our clients added support and depth of experience across the full build process.
Timber Frame Supply
We supply structural timber kits manufactured to agreed specifications, ensuring accuracy and smooth progress once work begins on site.
Installation
Our trained installation teams carry out full erection of timber kits and roof structures, working closely with site teams to keep things running to programme.
Design
Our in house designers provide technical drawings and support from the early planning stage through to sign off. Clear drawings and accurate detailing help reduce issues on site and keep the build moving.

We are a member of the Structural Timber Association (STA) and are certified as STA Gold and compliant with the Site Safe Scheme.
