Description | This development comprised of 15 new build residential units for social rent. The development comprises 1 and 3 bedroom cottage flats, 2 bedroom houses and one 3 bedroom house. All houses were designed to be flexible and easily adaptable, incorporating the requirements of 'Lifetime Homes'. George Paul, executive councillor for services for the community, said: “We are very proud to be delivering new council homes in Linlithgow – the first new council homes in a generation. " “We are building 1000 new homes across West Lothian and our partnership with McTaggart Construction has provided attractive, well-designed modern homes for residents." The project is a Finalist for a Scottish Home Award 2017 in the Small Affordable Housing Development of the Year category. |

McTaggart Construction was appointed the Development Partner of West Lothian Council to provide a total of 193 Units across the West Lothian area . These developments were split over 5 separate sites throughout Linlithgow, Winchburgh, Pumpherston, Livingston & Bridgend. Mill Road is the 2nd project in this key affordable housing programme. |
