Description | The works comprised of the provision of 28Nr new build residential units within 2 separate blocks which formed a development containing one, two and three bedroom units with 2 courtyard parking areas and 2 access roads servicing this development. Two of the units were allocated as wheelchair accommodation for our clients residents. The units are built over three and four stories and range from one bedroom to three bedroom units. The twenty eight units which were delivered were available for MMR and Social rent and was built to meet Housing for Varying Needs standards, Eco Homes ‘Very Good’ rating and Secured by Design accreditation. The development met sections 1 and 2 of the silver standard of the Building Regulations. The buildings were constructed of loadbearing timber kit walls and party walls utilising localised steelwork posts and beams, precast concrete stairs, reinforced strip foundations and retaining walls to the lower storey of the four storey block. The roofed area was completed with tiled pitched roof tiles. Also within or core services provided was the landing units to the common areas. The buildings external appearance was finished with a facing brick finish externally. Our internal works included joinery work, electrical, plumbing and gas central heating installations. Associated external works comprised of drainage service provisions, a new access road, parking and residential amenity space. |
