Description | This development involved the Design & Build of 46 new-build dwellings in a flatted arrangement, with 2-3 homes off each stairwell landing. At the lower levels, a number of these properties have larger footprints to accommodate specific needs of the local tenants. Two of the largest units within this development were allocated to local families with very specific accessibility issues, and was developed as adapted dwellings for wheelchair users. The flatted properties were formed over two 4 storey blocks of timber kit construction and included the provision of new roads / parking, public and private footpaths, division and boundary walling and fencing, drying facilities, bin stores, soft/hard landscaping and service connections. This project was registered with the Considerate Constructors scheme and achieved performance beyond compliance in all sections. It also achieved the BREEAM ‘Very Good’ Status. |
